After getting in touch with his anger last week, AJ is now exploring the next most enjoyable of the deadly sins: gluttony. He’s been feeling insecure about his weight, but Candi reveals she actually prefers a man with a bit of substance. Together they embark on a gastronomic odyssey down the Wetherspoons food menu, filling AJ to the brim. Gina is appalled that Candi could ever stray from Gina’s own pub and bars her.
Meanwhile, Gina, Fred, Debbie and Anthony are negotiating the aftermath of their surprise group lovemaking the night before. No one wants to suggest that they didn’t have a brilliant time, and so another illicit get-together is arranged.
In the cafe of her new soon-to-be-opened concert hall, Eliza hears the boys discussing the affair. Thinking they are organising a tennis match, she seeks the four out at the pub and discovers the truth. When they actively try to recruit her to their sordid shenanigans, Eliza is appalled. The foursome breaks up in disarray. Eliza and Anthony walk out into town just in time to find a debauched Candi and AJ vandalising and vomiting all over the new concert hall…

Big Dick Johnson is still in prison and as further punishment for misdemeanours he is sentenced to spend Halloween, his favourite festival, in the prison’s treehouse. There he recounts ghostly tales to a skull he assumes to be Pablo.
He tells the tales of ‘The Cursed Potato Waffle’, ‘Candi the Vampire Slayer’, ‘AJ’s Spicy Sausage’. ‘Why-O-Ming’ and ‘Silence of the Alice Lamb’.
Debbie and Anthony have been getting intimate on Eliza’s sofa, but Debbie spoils the mood by revealing she is Fred’s former lover. She goes to see Fred for the first time in nine years. They find the flame is still burning strong between them, even though he is now engaged to Gina.
Meanwhile AJ and Candy are discussing different things that make them angry. AJ gets worked up and goes on an Incredible Hulk-esque rampage, tearing his clothes and menacing local pigeons.
At the pub, Gina and Eliza decide put their recent quarrels behind them and become friends. As they chat, a misunderstanding appears. Gina thinks Eliza fancies Debbie and says she’s ‘fine’ with that, but this is misconstrued as Gina being ‘fine’ with Debbie and Fred rekindling their relationship. There is a tense showdown between Gina, Fred, Debbie, and Anthony about who’s with who. However, tensions are defused when a few tentative chin strokes turn seamlessly into a four-a-side love-in…

After the destruction of her caravan home in Oldtown, Gina has gone feral, eating rats and defending her pit against enemies.
Back in Newtown, AJ and Anthony bond over their shared love of Hugh Grant, but Simpkins warns Anthony away from AJ, ‘that utter, utter gobshite’.
Candi and Fred rush up the M1 in the Daewoo Matiz to rescue Gina, enjoying much Dido on the way. After some heartfelt cajoling, they convince Gina to return home with them.
Meanwhile, Eliza has let Debbie come and stay with her and they form a friendship. Anthony pays a visit and there is a spark of romance between him and Debbie. Their reading of Eliza’s erotic novel is interrupted by Gina’s sudden arrival. She has come to make peace with Eliza, but when Anthony casually announces that it was he who ordered the destruction of her home, Gina screams and begins to strangle him…

Gina has left Newtown and returned to her roots in Oldtown, North East Lincolnshire. She takes in the sights and sits in her old abandoned house, but feels lonely.
Meanwhile, Candi gets to know Debbie, who has returned to town after some years. She has been living in a cave on Lyle Hill and is adept at making her own fun.
Eliza is hanging out with AJ, her only remaining friend. However, when Candi, his girlfriend (and her former girlfriend) appears, Eliza panicks and hides behind AJ’s one-hob oven. Candi becomes suspicious, but lets it drop and takes Debbie to the zoo. Debbie reciprocates Candi’s friendship with the gift of some aphrodisiac tea to spice up her relationship with AJ.
Simpkins is showing Anthony round his hotel and they form a firm and business-savvy friendship. Anthony owns a derelict housing estate in Oldtown which is scheduled for demolition later today. Outside, they come across Eliza, who has escaped AJ’s via the sewer system. The three form a business plan to fund the building of a new concert hall, but Eliza will only chip in if Simpkins and Anthony help her ruin her former lover Candi’s new relationship.
Back in Oldtown, Gina is sitting with a mug of tea in her old house, when suddenly there comes the sound of an approaching bulldozer…

Reg is dead. Devastated when Eliza’s pregnancy was revealed as a sham, he shot himself. Whilst the rest of the community mourn, Eliza is ostracised and begins to plan a new life by finding her true self.
At the funeral, Reg’s estranged brother, Anthony appears, expressing a wish stay in town awhile. AJ tries to reach out to Eliza and persuades her to come to the wake. However, this leads to a a violent confrontation with Gina, who blames her for Reg’s death. Back at AJ’s flat an angry Eliza smashes one of his favourite Warhammer figurines – has he made the wrong kind of friend? Later, Fred and Gina discuss the recent dramas and Gina decides to ‘leave town for a bit’, departing in a way that makes Fred feel rather concerned about the state of their relationship. While he sits alone, someone from Fred’s past suddenly appears at the door. Debbie is back in town..
